I am a UK photographer specialising in imagery for advertising, editorial and design.
My passion for photography started during my previous career as an advertising art director. This creative background allows me to bring a unique understanding and energy to my work. I enjoy creating stylised, contemporary images that are well-lit, vibrant, and professionally retouched.
I am based at my own studio at my home in South Manchester but also travel all over the UK and I am happy to shoot at a location of your choice.

Advertising photography
My background as an advertising art director means I understand the importance of conveying an idea or concept when creating new imagery. Whatever the brief, I can create quality contemporary images whether in the studio or on location. I am skilled in photoshop and can retouch or create composites that are all finished to a professional standard.
Character portraits
An ongoing personal photography project of mine are my character portraits. Over the last few years I have been photographing interesting characters, everything from historic re-enactors, circus performers, beard and moustache competitors and even pirates! Cinemagraphs & gifs
Cinemagraphs or gifs are images that animate in a simple loop to create an everlasting moving photograph that are great for digital media. Producing cinemagraphs is mix of capturing the scene in video format followed by a mix of clever editing and photoshop work and finally outputting a file in either video or gif format.
My photography studio
It may not be the size of Pinewood, but my studio is the perfect space for people and product photography. Based at my home in Disley, it’s just 5 miles from Stockport and the M60, 11 miles from Manchester city centre and the end of the new A555 airport bypass is just 1 mile away.
